Burning Tree is a private golf and country
club with an exciting and friendly
atmosphere. With numerous social events
planned throughout the year, it's a great
place to meet new friends and relax with
the entire family.
The challenging course, with its tree-lined
fairways, is a traditionally designed, 18-hole
regulation golf course set in quiet woods
alongside the Clinton River. A practice
facility for driving, putting and chipping adds
to member enjoyment.
The men's and ladies' spacious locker areas are also located in the clubhouse. The Golf Shop features fine equipment and apparel, and the first class staff is dedicated to providing members with professional and friendly service.
Sunday afternoon, the Burning Tree team broke the drought and won the 2011 Macomb County Country Club Challenge. The team put up 1320 points to best Scalawags by 25 points to win for the first time in this event’s four years. The team had several strong performances but the Women’s net team led the way with 459 points. Congratulations to all the players from this year’s team.

This event was also a great day for the Care House. Dana Camphouse, the fund development specialist, was very pleased to leave with over $2200 for this very worthwhile charity. Thank you to all of you that contributed to the event with a donation.
